You can carry it everywhere, to keep your music within reach. How about wearing music instead it carrying it around? That’s what a company called CountryComm wants. It has designed watchbands that are 22mm thick and fit right through the pocket clip. Costing around $17 USD the bands come in a variety of colors and widths. For those who haven’t graced their wrist with a watch in years, the company has crafted a light case to store one.

Extreme architectural designs have surfaced to plan Turkey’s Izmir Opera House. Drawing inspiration from Art Deco Steam Locomotives, designer Wes Rhoad has developed a motorbike concept by the name “Zero Moto” that looks to build upon the electric motorcycles with better speed and operating range. Running on electric motors, located in the front and rear wheel-hub assemblies, to allow in-wheel drive, the futurist motorbike includes an all-wheel steering system for better controls. The front and rear wheels of the motorbike turn opposite to each other to decrease turning radius at normal speed, while on the other hand, the wheels turn in the same direction for quick lane changes at high speeds.

Utilizing the new technology to harness natural resources, British designer Alexander Williams has come up with a sustainable installation called the “Solar Sanctuary” for public spaces that apart from providing a universal communicative solution also helps in sustaining the urban environment. Featuring the main canopy skeleton made in stainless steel and a thin composite sheet umbrella canopy clad in solar panels, the urban focal point also includes rotational molded PE planter and base unit to seat passengers in comfort. Offering shelter from sun or rain to the passersby, the Solar Sanctuary allows complete connectivity across platforms through a free wireless signal that runs on solar energy accumulated by photovoltaic panels located on the roof, while the rainwater is used to water the plants in the planter.

Running on a small 15hp 4-stroke Honda go-kart engine capable of reaching of the top speed of 30mph, the off-road vehicle also features the carbon-fiber handlebar with throttle control and cutoff switch, which keeps the rider intact even at high speeds. The handle of the DTV Shredder folds down to fit in the back of a car that males it highly transportable. The engine of the vehicle weighs about 85 lbs (38kgs), which makes it just ideal to perform stunts, jumps and tricks in different surfaces or terrains. Revealed at the IFA Berlin this year is the Libratone Beat, which touts itself as the world’s first high-end active speaker with wireless technology. The high quality acoustic instrument treats its listeners to an audio sweet spot by dispersing the sound in different directions providing a 360-degree experience. The system features a 30-pin transmitter that attaches to an iPod, iPhone or iPad and wirelessly streams audio to a Beat speaker up to 32.8 feet or 10m away. The wireless range of the system can be extended by the user to 98.4 feet (30m) if the user opts to connect the wireless USB transmitter to a PC or Mac. The speakers wear a somber, no-nonsense look and are handy to carry as well.
